Have put together this set for all the people out there that think there is so much to do to begin programming microcontrollers and making cool robots. 

This includes all the parts necessary to get started and even if you have some parts will complete your set and provide you with some spare parts. As you will find breadboarding your projects and designs is the fastest way to test them out. What makes it even faster is if you have a few simple modules that you will use with all your projects again and again but not have to waste precious breadboarding space to use them. 

This Kit includes an AVR Programmer, MAX232 RS 232 Unit and 5V DC regulator, a 240 hole quality breadboard new and unopened, plenty of room for the 40 pin microcontroller to fit as well as all the other peripherals and still provide space for other IC's you wish to experiment with. The Atmel atMEGA32 16Mhz AVR is included, this chip is also unopened and will be set to the factory default speed of 1Mhz using the internal clock.

4 RED 5mm LEDs for making your first LEDs blink, 2 x 22pF capacitors and a 16 MHz crystal oscillator for when you want to use the AVR to its maximum speed.

4 x 390 Ohm resistors for the LEDs and 4 x 1K Ohm resistors useful for pull-up resistors. 30cm of 10 wire Ribbon cable and 25 way 0.1" snappable header pins. 

And finally 8 pieces of 24 gauge wire to get you started on the breadboard, just cut to length and bare the ends.  244HCT based AVR programmer. This unit is perfect for a quick and easy way to breadboard and program any AVR. The pinout is designed to plug in right alongside many chips including atmega32, atmega16 etc. The programmer is powered from the breadboard. For other AVR microcontrollers you can simply plug in next to IC and jumper the easily identifiable wires.  This kit comes with an adapter to use the programmer with the standard Atmel 10 pin programming header. Comes with Printed Schematic and Colour hookup diagram to make using easy in any AVR project. Use free software such as Avrdude or Uisp and others to program your microcontrollers. Requires parallel port to connect to computer. Has power led and programming led. Will fit into larger DB25 backshells but works fine without. Adapter available to use programmer with standard 10 pin header if needed.
5V regulated supply up to 500 mA. Can be used to 1Amp if a heatsink is applied to the 7805 IC. 6 Power pins ensure proper connection to the power rails of your breadboard. Has a power led to display Power on. Power is supplied by a high quality screw terminal to make it easy to use with any DC supply, 9V battery or wall wart. Has diode to prevent damage from accidental reverse voltage connection. Electrolytic Caps on both the input and output stage of 7805.

MAX232 Based RS232 unit. Allows your microcontroller or other serial devices to communicate with your computer using a standard serial cable. Quality made and tested. Has 4 pins that allow easy insertion into any breadboard. Included is also a 4 wire connector that could allow it to be connected to something else.
