RifRafs World This site exists to try and keep track of some of the projects worked on.  The end goal is to make a reasonably smart robot that will get me beer and do other household chores.  To date we have a rolling platform that has been idle for the last few years.	Projects Most projects within are bits and pieces when the camera was handy or there was something requiring the help of others to help achieve a result. Is great for getting a few ideas and there are many achievable small projects.	Pastimes and work Work is a means to an end, a way to appreciate life and further my passions for making things. Am lucky to work in a place with large machinery including CNC.  Most weekends are spent fishing and traveling this great country of Australia.
ROBOTICS		WINDMILLS
Many pages relating to Foxy my main robot are inside here. Also many other smaller electronic and mechanical projects.		A short project started and built 2 decent windmills, then discovered there was not enough wind to run them consistently.  Still have them in case I live in a windy place some day
TIPTOES		REPRAP and 3D PRINTING
Tiptoes was a project started years ago which was based around a walking hexapod.  It used 3 sets of legs to achieve motion.  It was designed to be expanded by the end user and be controlled via rs232 and programmed via usb or a parallel programmer.  Schematics for these designs are to be found as well as many other images and information useful to hexapods.
